Privacy and information use
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information collected through the Metro website and how it is used.
Quote, contact, and itinerary information
When you submit a quote request, Metro receives the contact information and trip details you choose to provide, such as locations, dates, times, passenger count, stops, luggage or equipment, flight details, accessibility requests, and notes.
Quote requests are stored in Metro’s local website lead system so authorized administrators can review and respond to the transportation request.
Do not submit payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, or unrelated sensitive information through the quote form.
Referral and visit attribution
The website may record the first and current landing-page path, a privacy-minimized referral source, and standard campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, campaign, term, or content. Arbitrary query parameters and page fragments are not retained as landing-page attribution.
This limited attribution helps Metro understand which website page and service context were associated with a request, protect the form from abuse, and troubleshoot request handling. Website page context is determined by the page where the request is submitted, while standard campaign details help Metro understand how visitors reached the website.
Browser session information
The quote form uses browser sessionStorage to keep first-visit attribution during the current browser session. It does not set an attribution cookie or send attribution data to a third party. The quote system currently does not route request or attribution data to external analytics, email, or webhook services.
A locally generated session identifier is hashed before it is stored with a lead. Metro may also maintain security and operational logs needed to protect and operate the website.
Access, routing, retention, and deletion
Access to stored quote requests is restricted to authorized administrators who review the trip details and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
Metro has not yet established a final retention and deletion schedule for website quote requests. Information remains in the local website lead system while Metro evaluates appropriate periods for request handling, security, troubleshooting, and recordkeeping. If Metro contacts you about a request, you may use that communication channel to ask about correction or deletion of the information you provided.
